Donate to our Youth hub
At CHAT Youth, we believe that no young person should have to face difficulties with their mental health or wellbeing alone.
We are raising funds to support our new Youth Community Hub in Thrapston (opening Autumn 2026, date tbc), providing a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for young people aged 8–25 across Thrapston, Oundle and the surrounding rural communities.
Every donation, however big or small, helps us make a real difference to the lives of young people in our local communities.
Your kindness helps us provide safe spaces, activities and opportunities for young people to feel heard, valued and understood.
For many young people, accessing support isn’t easy. Rural communities can mean limited public transport, fewer youth activities and increased social isolation. Some young people aren’t ready for counselling, but still need somewhere safe to go, trusted adults to talk to and opportunities to meet others, build confidence and feel part of their community.
The Hub will bring together our existing counselling, drop in and early intervention support with a wider range of preventative activities, including workshops and groups, games, creative and art groups, a youth forum, and other wellbeing activities.
We are already working with young people across local primary schools, secondary schools and our weekly Thrapston drop-in, but we want to do more. The Hub will allow us to reach young people earlier, before difficulties escalate into crisis, while creating a lasting community resource that young people can help shape and make their own.
Every donation will help us turn this vision into reality. Funds will contribute towards the Hub, youth facilitators, equipment and resources, activities and groups, and ensuring that our services remain accessible to young people who need them.
With your support, we can create a place where young people can connect, belong, be themselves, access support and thrive.
Please help us build something that will make a lasting difference to young people in our local communities.
